Join the CNCF community for a scenic summer hike to Chester Lake in beautiful Kananaskis! This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow tech professionals, cloud enthusiasts, and CNCF community members — all while enjoying Alberta’s mountain landscapes.

Hike Details:

• Distance: ~9 km round trip

• Difficulty: Easy–Moderate (suitable for most fitness levels)

• Time: 3–4 hours

• Highlights: Stunning alpine lake, mountain views, and plenty of photo spots.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable hiking shoes or boots

• Water & snacks/lunch

• Sunscreen, hat, and layers (mountain weather can change quickly)

• Bear spray (if you have one)

• A positive attitude and readiness to network in the wild!
