The Multicloud Journey: Navigating From On-Prem to Cloud and Back

by Per Hedegaard Christiansen - Head of Container Platform Engineering @Saxo Bank | DevOps & Cloud-Native Enthusiast

In today’s evolving IT landscape, the multicloud journey is more complex than a simple shift from on-premises to cloud—it’s a continuous cycle of adaptation.
In this talk, we’ll explore the challenges, learnings, and insights from real-world experiences transitioning between on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Through practical examples, we’ll dive into strategies for using cloud platforms more intelligently, choosing the right tools, and avoiding common pitfalls that can impact cost, flexibility, and performance.
This session is perfect for IT professionals, architects, and decision-makers who want to make informed choices and leverage cloud smarter to create resilient, future-ready infrastructures.
